Append-only event log

Every action — upload, view, download, comment, approval, access grant — is recorded in an append-only log. Events cannot be deleted or edited retroactively. The record is what it is.

Cryptographic audit chain

Each event in the audit log is signed with Ed25519 and linked to the previous event. Any tampering breaks the chain — making the integrity of the record independently verifiable without trusting Marintel.

Party-level attribution

Every logged event is attributed to a specific authenticated party — not just an IP address or session, but an identified individual with a verified email and role in the deal.

Document delivery receipts

When a party views or downloads a document, that event is logged with exact timestamp, document version, and party identity. Delivery is a fact in the record, not a claim in an email thread.
